So I learned a valuable lesson on Thursday evening, riding 8 miles on my road bike to the gym, doing an hour of weight training, then riding home, on the same day as a race in the evening is NOT a good idea... WHEW, was I spent! One of the few times I was happy there wasn't enough bikes for the Cruiser class, I was spent enough that I didn't even qualify for the main!!! bad deal...
So Monday, I did not go to the gym, but I can certainly tell that i have not been riding much lately, again we did not have enough for the cruiser class, However I did manage to get a 2nd place on my class bike... having a good time and hopefully will be more prepared for the state qualifiers in Mankato and Faribault this weekend!
