Doulos Church moved to the old train depot in Princeton! So as of the end of the year, Doulos Church decided it was time to move out of the stronghold, which was the old sanctuary at New Life Christian Center. They were gracious hosts for about 2 years.
We lost alot of people after the move as many couldn't find us, then the Enemy got ahold of our Pastor, and many left when he moved on, so we have a small very eclectic group of people. We call ourselves an island of misfit toys, everyone has been broken, addicted, or scorned by a 'church'.... so many that did come to Doulos Mission Church have not come while we were at New Life, and we feel that it was because we were in a 'church' building, God tells us that we do not need a church building to be a church, and that we need to love on EVERYONE! All are welcome to our little church, we have people literally from all walks of life, from buisness owners to hard core bikers, to a punk rock looking pierced and tattooed associate pastor, and every one has God's heart for you, and your walk with Jesus.
Over the past few months while we've been looking for a new home for Doulos, it had been said, that we can turn a garage into a church but no matter how hard we try we cannot turn a 'church building' into a garage. So it is a train depot for now, we are having a great time and feel God moving with us!
We are non denominational, and if one were to really read the word it more or less says that sect's and denominations are not what was intended for the church. We, including myself, have a small worship team, we are all amature musicians, so if you come expecting a 'show' you might be a little dissappointed, but we do play with HEART FOR GOD and make a joyful noise. We try to rock out some newer worship songs along with some classics, we speak from the word, and have a men's group on Thursday nights now and the ladies are getting together on tuesday's as well...
So come on over to princeton, and chill with us on a sunday evening at 6pm, we would love to have you come...
